Direction from the I-5 to THE BUBBLE:
1. Take GENESEE AVE (West) exit - go 0.2 mi
2. Continue on GENESEE AVE - 0.7 mi
3. Turn Left on to NORTH TORREY PINES RD - go 0.8 mi
4. Turn Left on to MUIR COLLEGE DR. - go 0.1 mi
5. The Bubble will be a dome shaped building on the right hand side
Direction from the I-5 to The Natural Science Building:
1. Take GENESEE AVE (West) exit - go 0.2 mi
2. Continue on GENESEE AVE - 0.7 mi
3.Turn Left on to NORTH TORREY PINES RD - go 0.8 mi
4.Turn Left on to LA JOLLA SHORES DR. - go 0.1 mi
5.The Natural Science Building is the first building on the right hand side
Campus Parking
Parking on the Main Campus requires a permit from 7 am to 11 pm. on weekdays. An automated permit dispenser can be used to purchase a one day and one night parking permit. The permit dispensers are located at parking lot P207, P208, P303 and on Muir College Dr. at parking lot P303. Please look at the campus map above for Parking Permit dispenser locations.
Metered Parking is also available in lots P303, P304 and P206. Please refer to the campus parking map to locate these parking lots.
Weekdays: Between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, you have three choices:
- Purchase a Visitor permit. These V permits are available for purchase at an automated permit dispenser (located in P208 and P303 or at the visitor information kiosks at the Gilman Drive and North Point Drive entrances). V permits cost $1 per hour, up to $6 for a full day. You can park in any V, B or S spot for the amount of time you have purchased.
- Park at a metered spot ($1 per hour). Metered Parking is available in lots P303, P304 and P206. Please refer to the campus parking map to locate these parking lots.
- Purchase a One-Day permit. These permits are available at the visitor information kiosks at the Gilman Drive and North Point Drive entrances, or at the main Parking Office in the Gilman Parking Structure (map). One-Day permits are $6. You can park in any V, B or S spot all day, and in A or metered spots after 4:30 p.m. or before 7:45 a.m.
